Saving Video Logs
Introduction
Yogger’s video analysis technology enables users to analyze and annotate videos for a deeper understanding of a client’s movement. By saving video logs, coaches and therapists can store edited videos directly within a client’s profile, making it easier to explain findings and address irregularities through visual examples. Keeping video logs in athlete profiles centralizes important information, streamlining patient care and enhancing communication.
Location: Take a video or upload a video from your phone library to enter playback mode. Press the “file” icon in the top right corner to save the video log.
Purpose and Functionality
The purpose of saving video logs is to create a comprehensive record of an athlete’s movements and progress over time. This functionality allows users to capture and store entire video sessions, including any edits or annotations, within a client’s profile. By saving these logs, coaches, trainers, and therapists can easily review and reference past sessions, explain findings visually, and track improvements. It also ensures that all relevant information is organized in one place, facilitating better communication and more efficient patient or athlete care.

How to Save Video Logs
Once all necessary annotations have been made to a video in the playback view, press the “file” icon in the top right corner to save the video log.
The user will be directed to a menu with various options for saving the video log:

- At the top of the screen, users can select the athlete profile to which the video log will be shared (available for non-basic subscriptions). To switch athletes, simply press the menu and scroll to find the desired profile.
- Users can save videos to an existing collection or create a new one within this menu. Collections help organize an athlete’s library, categorizing media under specific labels or purposes.
- Goals allow coaches to set and track specific movement objectives for their clients. By saving video logs to a goal, coaches can document their client’s progress with a comprehensive series of videos over time.
- A note can be added to the video log to provide context and help both the client and coach understand the content of the video.
Be sure to save the video log to the Yogger Cloud so that other coaches can access it as well. Finally, press “Save” to officially store the video!
