Managing Athletes

Introduction

Managing athletes in Yogger allows you to control access, organize your roster, and ensure the right coaches can view and work with the right athlete profiles.

Athlete management tools are available in the web application under the Manage Athletes tab. Select an athlete or multiple athletes, then press the More Options (...) button at the top right of the athlete table.

Purpose and Functionality

Athlete management tools help you maintain an organized and secure workflow as your organization grows. You can update athlete details, control which coaches have access to each athlete, and remove athletes from your active roster when needed.

Adding athletes web app location

Editing Athlete Information

You can edit an athlete’s profile information, including their name, email address, and demographic details. Keeping athlete information accurate helps ensure proper assessment standardization and reporting.

Reassigning Athletes to Coaches

Athletes can be reassigned to different coaches within your organization. Reassigning an athlete controls which coaches can access that athlete’s profile, videos, assessments, and reports.

This is useful when staff roles change or when athletes transition between coaches.

Assigning Tasks to Multiple Athletes

You can assign tasks to multiple athletes at once from the athlete management view. This allows you to efficiently request assessments or assessment flows from groups of athletes without assigning tasks individually.

Archiving Athletes

Archiving an athlete removes them from your active athlete list while preserving their account and historical data.

Archived athletes lose access to the Yogger app, but can be restored at a later time if needed.

Deleting Athletes

Deleting an athlete permanently removes them from your organization. This action cannot be easily undone.

Use deletion when you are certain an athlete should no longer exist in your organization.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Archive athletes instead of deleting them if you may need their data in the future.
  • Regularly review coach assignments to ensure proper access control.
  • Keep athlete information up to date to support accurate assessments and reports.
  • Use bulk task assignment to save time when working with teams or groups.
