Purpose and Functionality

The purpose of report templates is to give coaches and professionals full control over how assessment results are presented to clients.

Templates allow you to organize information in a specific order, include personalized notes, and add visual elements such as images from assessments — all within a consistent, professional format.

Creating a Report Template

To create a new report template, select Create Templatefrom the Report Templates page. You will first be prompted to give the template a name to help identify it later.

Templates are built using flexible blocks.(3) Blocks can include text, dividers, placeholders for images from video analysis, assessment summaries, and notes.

Use the plus (+) button (5) to add new rows to the report. Column controls (4) allow you to split a row into multiple columns, giving you control over layout and structure.

Once your template is complete, save it to make it available for use when generating reports from video analysis or assessments.

Using Report Templates

Saved templates can be selected when creating a new report. When using a template, you can quickly add snapshots, images, and data captured during video analysis or assessments into the predefined layout.

This workflow allows you to generate consistent, professional reports without rebuilding the structure each time.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Create separate templates for different client types or service offerings.
  • Include image placeholders so clients can visually see movement or assessment results.
  • Add personalized notes to clearly explain your observations and how you interpret the data.
  • Keep layouts consistent to make reports easier to read and compare over time.
