Assigning Athlete Tasks
Introduction
As a professional, you can assign tasks to your clients that appear directly on their app home screen. This feature is especially useful when you want a specific athlete to complete an assessment, or when you need multiple athletes to complete a selected assessment flow before a scheduled date, session, or meeting.
Location
Tasks are assigned from the web application. There are two spots in the web app to assign athlete Tasks. The selected athlete Tasks tab (1) or you can add tasks to multiple athlete through the Manage Athletes table (2).
You can assign your selected athlete tasks from the Tasks tab in the dashboard after selecting a current athlete. From there, you can see their currently assigned tasks in the table and corresponding calendar. To assign a new task click Add Tasks (3).
You can assign multiple athlete tasks from the Manage Athletes tab in dashboard. From there, select the athletes you want to assign a task to by checking the boxes next to their names. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and choose Assign Task.

A menu will appear allowing you to select the task or assessment you want to assign. Once selected, choose a due date and click Confirm.



Purpose and Functionality
Assigning tasks helps athletes clearly understand what actions they need to take, without relying on reminders or follow-up messages. Tasks appear directly in the athlete’s app, ensuring visibility and accountability.
Tasks can be assigned to individual athletes or entire groups, removing the need to manually notify each person and hope they remember to complete the required assessments.
How to Use Athlete Tasks
A common use case for Athlete Tasks is assigning an assessment or assessment flow that you want specific athletes—or your entire roster—to complete.
With the task clearly displayed in the app and a due date attached, athletes know exactly what is expected and when it needs to be completed.
Tips and Best Practices
- Always include a due date to encourage timely completion.
- Create standardized assessment flows and assign them to multiple athletes at once for consistency.
- Use tasks before onboarding sessions, check-ins, or performance reviews to ensure athletes arrive prepared.
